Make certain you check to see that there is efficient and attractive use of “white space” and your content is not all centered on a page.

As you review your graphic images are they sized and optimized properly and they are not pixilated? By sized we are not referring to sizing info on the alt tag, which is fine, but actual sizing the image to, for example 200x200 and not just telling the browser to load a 800x1400 graphic into a 200X200 space.

Is your text easy to read on all pages? Make sure it is not too small or against a background that does not allow the text to be seen clearly.

Is your content well written? Meaning does the sentence structure make sense and can the reader understand what it is you are trying to portray.

Be certain your grammar is correct? Do you use words properly not making errors, like using loose instead of lose or are instead of our or your rather than you're as required.

Have you thought about your site content to ensure it is of interest to the general reader? For example, if you have a personal site is it only of interest to mom, dad and the grandparents? Or worse not even to them?

Have you taken the time to look at and correct your spelling errors? There are a number of excellent spell checkers available and little excuse not to use them. If you have a learning disability let us know in the application and we will certainly take that into account.

These are 10 big points for excellence in technical design and are based solely on the technical merits of your website. Here we are getting into actual coding, html, css, java, php etc. If you are shaking your head here, well you probably aren’t going to get these points!
